IOSCV is created as part of the Smart Islands Project to ensure long-term community benefit from innovation projects on Scilly.

2020
IOSCV supports Hitachi and the Council of the Isles of Scilly to deliver the £11m Smart Energy Islands project, installing solar panels, heat pumps and energy efficiency systems in 100 social housing units on the Isles of Scilly.

2023
IOSCV secures £218k to deliver a Community Energy Network on the islands, including an Energy Local tariff for discounted local renewables, an Energy Clinic for local residents and feasibility studies into an additional 6 solar generation sites.

2017-2020
